Wheeler Walker Jr. Comes Out Of Retirement With New Song About COVID-19, Greatest Hits Album On The Way

He’s back.

It’s been awhile since we heard from ol’ Wheeler Walker, Jr. Back in January 2019, Wheeler (who is of course the alter-ego of comedian Ben Hoffman) went on a lengthy Twitter rant claiming that he would not be making another country record and because it was a “waste of fucking time.”

Then, less than a week later, Wheeler’s Twitter and Instagram disappeared after he received strong backlash for a political tweet regarding a viral video.

And ol’ Wheeler hasn’t been heard from since. Until now…

Last night, Wheeler reappeared on Facebook (the only social media account of his that’s still up) with a brand new song about the Coronavirus bullshit, called “COVID-19 Blues.”

“Stay safe, y’all. I think Wheeler’s Greatest Hits (with two new songs) is still on schedule to be released as soon as we can get it out.”

Seems like the pain from the quarantine is getting to Wheeler just like it’s getting to everybody else.

Did he use this time to reconsider his decision to leave country? Only time will tell, but for now, Wheeler Walker Jr. is back.
