Luke Combs Does Chris Stapleton’s “What Are You Listening To” For The Deep Cuts Challenge

When Morgan Wallen delivered that killer cover of Aldean’s “Water Tower” yesterday, we knew this Deep Cuts Challenge was about to be something special.

But then, Morgan nominated Luke Combs to perform a deep cut of his choice and shocker… Luke just CRUSHED a Stapleton deep cut called “What Are You Listening To”

“What Are You Listening To” was Chris’ first-ever single, released way back in 2013. It didn’t do much on the charts and ultimately never made an album, but to this day, it’s still one of my all-time favorite Chris Stapleton songs.

And apparently, it’s one of Luke’s too:

“A few nights ago  Morgan Wallen challenged me to the Deep Cuts Challenge. I decided to do “What’re You Listening To” by Chris Stapleton. This may not technically be a deep cut but it’s a song that didn’t get as much credit as I think it deserved. Chris, I’m sorry I messed up the bridge, don’t hate me. Hope y’all enjoy and I want to challenge Vince Gill to lay one down.”

Phenomenal song choice, phenomenal cover, and one hell of a follow up nomination as well.

I mean seriously, does it get better than this right now?
