What a pleasant surprise this record is.

Among all the great new releases today, including Caitlyn Smith and Gabe Lee’s new records, was this incredible project from the Alzheimer’s Association. Featuring Jason Isbell, Lee Ann Womack, Brett Eldredge a more, a group of 10 talented artists came together to create Music Moments, a compilation album that aimed to “capture a special time” in each artist’s life.

“The Alzheimer’s Association knows that we all have experiences with music that are significant and meaningful,” said Michael Carson, chief marketing officer, Alzheimer’s Association. “The Music Moments album, and the stories behind the songs, set the stage for sharing experiences and fueling important conversations. Ultimately, these conversations are critical to reducing stigma about Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. We are relentless in our pursuit to increase awareness and advance the cause.”

Jason Isbell covered John Prine’s “Hello In There,” Lee Ann Womack put her take on Waylon’s “Dreaming My Dreams With You,” and Brett Eldredge re-recorded his Alzheimer’s inspired debut single “Raymond.”

Go behind the scenes with Jason and Brett as they discuss what this project means to them.
