Charley Crockett Is A Guitar Playing, Gun Fighting Cowboy In New “The Valley” Music Video

If you’re a fan of Westerns, you’re going to love Charley Crockett’s new music video and accompanying short film.

Filmed for the autobiographical title track of his most recent album The Valley, the new music video finds Crockett wandering through the desert on horseback, a guitar-playing drifter, before he’s captured by a band of outlaws.

“Getting to do that cowboy shit on film…I’ve been trying to do that since I was a little boy,” Crockett tells Billboard.

The music video is part of a short film (available here) that Crockett starred in alongside director Ben Christensen, in collaboration with the Saltwater Cowboys Studio.

For the most part, music videos suck these days. This one definitely does not.
