The video going viral shows the dad, John Reid of Virginia, listening to the gift and becoming overwhelmed with emotion.
Their 16-year-old son, Dakota, tragically died from head injuries suffered in a car accident – his organs were donated, with 69-year-old Bob O’Connor from Massachusetts receiving the heart.
