As part of Hockey has Heart Congenital Defect Awareness Night, Luke Bryan performed the national anthem at last night’s Nashville Predators game.
Bryan was joined on the ice by two young CHD patients, however Luke himself is no stranger to this condition. In 2017, he and his wife Caroline Boyer Bryan lost their niece Sadie to CHD.
“This disease impacts thousands of U.S. families annually, so we look forward to joining forces with Luke in support of a cause that means as much to him as it does to us,” Predators vice president of community relations Rebecca King said in a statement.
The Preds went on to win the game 5-0.
