I literally couldn’t even type out that headline without laughing the entire way through.
A Christian activist by the name of Dave Daubenmire wants to sue the NFL for $867 trillion because of its Super Bowl Halftime Show.
According to Newsweek, on the podcast “Pass the Salt,” he said the following:
“I think we ought to sue. Would that halftime show, would that have been rated PG? Were there any warnings that your 12-year-old son – whose hormones are just starting to operate – was there any warning that what he was going to see might cause him to get sexually excited? Could I go into a courtroom and say, ‘viewing what you put on that screen put me in danger of hellfire?”
Lol huh.
He added, “I think it’s pornography.”
OK GUY.
Dave also pointed out the “crotch shots” and that there should be a warning before crotches are shown. As far as the huge $ amount, he said he just thought of the largest number possible, but said there’s no number high enough.
In my opinion, one of the best halftime shows in a quite a while. My dad said he liked it a lot more than Adam Levine’s last year, so there’s that.
