Coors Light Will Pay 1,000 People To Adopt A Dog So You Can Beat “Cuffing Season”

Hot damn, I knew I loved you Coors Light.

Coors Light is admitting Valentine’s Day sucks, and wants to help combat “cuffing season.” To do this, they will pay fees for 1,000 dogs adopted between 12:00 PM CT on February 4, 2020 and 11:59:59 PM CT on February 21, 2020.

That’s right – 1,000 new dog owners will receive $100 towards their dog adoption fees.

“Cuffing Season is a major cultural trend and poses tension for our younger drinkers, as they navigate the stress of finding someone to spend the cold months with,” said Chelsea Parker, Marketing Manager at Molson Coors.

“With almost half of millennials planning to stay in on Valentine’s Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side.”

Brilliant, I tell you. Brilliant.

From the press release:

Eligible participants can text “COORS4k9” and a picture of their adoption receipt to 28130. After review, the first 1,000 eligible participants will be given $100 to apply toward their adoption fees. See terms and conditions for full offer details.

On a side note, the silver bullet is one of the best shower beers. I could go for about 12 right now…
