Hot Country Knights Announce 2020 ‘One Knight Stand’ Tour, Release Road Warrior’s Anthem “Asphalt”

Hide your kids, hide your wife, Big Rhythm Doug and the Hot Country Knights are coming to a city near you.

For the first time ever, the Hot Country Knights will be loading up the van and hitting the road on a nationwide tour. The 2020 One Knight Stand Tour will be bringing that ’90s country heat to 13 different cities across the United States and feature support from Hannah Dasher, Tenille Townes, Rachel Wammack and Lainey Wilson, a few of country music’s most promising female stars.

The Knights started as a live band playing at a little place called Teasers on ‘Two for Tuesdays,’ and they just couldn’t get enough of us down there in Murfreesboro. We’ve got a little money now, so Barry did some work on the van. We got a few little outstanding legal issues handled so we are free and clear to cross state lines again,” explained lead singer Doug Douglason. “Yeah baby, the Knights are riding again!”

The tour kicks off on April 7th in San Diego, California, and will run through the entire month of April, wrapping up at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on April 29th.

Along with the tour announcement, the Knights released the tenderhearted road warrior’s anthem titled “Asphalt.” An ode to that asphalt, that sweet asphalt, Doug laments how, whether curvy or flat, wide or old, a wandering life on the road continues to call to him.
