Dustin Lynch Announces New Single “Momma’s House” & I REALLY Miss “Cowboys & Angels”

Here we go again…

You already know how I feel about Dustin’s previous single, “Ridin’ Roads,” which just went #1 last week. You can read the full rant here, but long story short, I don’t know how we’re still putting out songs called “Ridin’ Roads” these days. The title alone is enough to make me think you’re trolling us…

Anyways, on to the next.

Dustin will be sending “Momma’s House” to country radio as his next single, and while slightly better than the bro-country buzzword vomit of his previous single, “Momma’s House” is still a far cry from the kind of country song we know Dustin is capable of doing.

And don’t worry, I’m not going to spend paragraphs and paragraphs railing against it, it’s just hard to believe that we started at “Cowboys and Angels” and this is where we wound up. And to be honest, anytime you throw a “Dayum gurl” in a song these days, I’m pretty much at liberty to write it off right there.

Either way, Dustin will be releasing his fourth studio album, Tullahoma, this Friday, so fingers crossed we can find something to enjoy on there. I won’t hold my breath though…

Just for old times’ sake…
