Tucker Beathard Releases Touching “Brother” Tribute Video Honoring His Late Brother Clayton

I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult it’s been for the Beathard family, coping with the loss of their little brother and youngest son.

As you may know, Clayton Beathard, Tucker’s youngest brother, was fatally stabbed outside a Nashville bar, along with his friend Paul Trapeni III. According to police reports, a female friend of theirs was receiving unwanted advances from a man and when they confronted him, a fight broke out, and they both needlessly lost their lives in the process. The scumbag suspect, who has a long history of violent crime, has since been captured.

In 2018, Tucker released his debut album, Nobody’s Everything, and immediately, one of the standout tracks was a song called “Brother.”

“I wrote this song right after my little brother Clay graduated high school, and it was heavy on my heart to write a song about the relationship dynamic that me and my brothers are blessed to share. This song has taken on a lot deeper meaning for me now that Clay is in Heaven. But I know he’s still watching over me and still gonna be helping me take on the world from above. Psalm 27:1.”

In light of Clay’s passing, Tucker released a “Brother” tribute video featuring old family photos and home videos, and you might want to grab the Kleenex before you hit play. It’ll bring a few tears to your eye.
