I’ve been ranting and raving about The Rock’s tequila ever since he made the announcement back in February, and now, we finally have a launch date. Called “Teremana Tequila,” which essentially means Spirit of the Earth, The Rock’s passion project will officially come to life in March of 2020.
“Our goal is to create a tequila that is the best of quality and taste, but done the right way – by hand. Small batch, hand crafted tequila from our Teremana blue agave, maturing in the highlands of Jalisco, for everyone to enjoy. After years of hard work, this blessing is truly a dream come true – but it’s just the beginning and there’s much work to be done. I’m committed with my team to bring you the best tequila, because quality and legacy are what matter most.”
This afternoon, The Rock shared a video from the Teremana Distillery, and hell if that isn’t a thing of beauty.
“Beautiful and sexy sight. Our hot off the lines Teremana Tequila 375ml bottles! This is the equivalent to a half bottle vs our core 750ml bottle. We call this – a little Mana. This passion project has been years in the making and we’re excited and honored to share it with the world. Our Teremana Distillery is working very hard to make our tequila available for you in MARCH 2020.”
And as I’ve said before, The Rock is the epitome of turning hard work into success, and I don’t doubt for a second that he’ll treat his new tequila venture with the very same dedication to perfection. Not to mention, The Rock is also a fan of great country music artists like Tyler Childers and Cody Jinks. So we know he’s a man of impeccable taste.
