Another day, another #1 single for Thomas Rhett. And announced today, he’ll be following up the heartfelt “Remember You Young” with something a little lighter, a little more fun, and featuring the great Jon Pardi.
When I initially heard that Jon Pardi was going to be singing on a Thomas Rhett song called “Beer Can’t Fix,” I had hopes. You have Jon Pardi, you have beer, I’m thinking we’re going to have a boot stompin’ party anthem akin to “Drink A Little Beer” from Rhett’s previous album. Not quite…
And while I was admittedly disappointed with the production choices, I suppose we could do worse. If I had to pick a new single, I guess this would have to be this one.
“Beer Can’t Fix” is set to impact country radio on January 6th of next year.
