Taco Bell Is Kicking Off 2020 With 21 Dollar Menu Items, Bringing Back The Double Stacked Taco

Taco Bell is kicking off 2020 on the right foot.

I went to McDonald’s the other night for a quick happy hour McChicken, you know, just a little snack before I got home for dinner and that charged me $2.36. Nearly two and half bucks for a damn McChicken. Get outta here with that.

Yet, while other brands are stabbing us in the back, Taco Bell remains loyal to the dollar menu, expanded theirs to 21 items in the new year. The Bell will also be reintroducing one of its fan favorites, the $1 Double Stacked Tacos, which will be available in Nacho Crunch, Chipotle Cheddar and Reaper Ranch.

“It’s more important than ever before that we give fans the craveable food they not only want, but can afford, and we’ve built our menu with some of our most innovative items from $1 to $5 to ensure there is something for everyone,” said Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights at Taco Bell. “Committing to the $1 is a priority for us and we’re excited to bring back the hugely popular Double Stacked Tacos.”

As Garth Brooks would say, I like that.
