Luke Combs Dedicates “This One’s For You” To Everybody Who Makes His Shows Possible

How can you not love this guy?

Luke Combs has had an absolutely meteoric rise in country music. From playing bars and clubs in 2017 to headlining a sold-out arena tour in 2019, I can’t think of another country superstar who has risen as high as Luke Combs in such a short amount of time.

But through it all, Luke has managed to stay humble. And that’s why people love him.

Throughout his tour, Luke has been dedicating “This One’s For You” to the people who usually don’t get the attention that he does – the people who work behind the scenes to make his shows happen. The people who clean the arenas, and scan tickets, and set up a massive stage and lights every night just to give his fans the show they came out to see.

And of course, he’s shouting out the fans themselves.

Here’s a video from his show in Tacoma, Washington, of Luke giving some much-deserved praise to the people who helped make his tour happen.

My name is on everything. It’s on this guitar pick, it’s on the strap, it’s on the drums, it’s on the tickets, it’s on the t-shirts, hats buses…. What I want y’all to know is there are hundreds of people, yourselves included, who work so much harder than I do every day to make sure that a show like this happens every night. People from right here in Tacoma, Washington, who showed up at 7:00 in the morning to load these lights in, to push all this gear in, the people scanning the tickets, the people cleaning the bathrooms, the people pouring your beers. Nobody ever claps for those people and they deserve it just as much as I do. Let’s give it up for them.”

A-fucking-men, Luke.

Country fans, we have to protect this guy at all costs, because he’s one of the good ones.
