Let’s face it, the holidays are called the “most wonderful time of the year” but we all know why… because you spend most of it drunk. Hot chocolate, eggnog, apple cider, no matter what we’re drinking you can bet your ass that we’re going to be adding some booze to it. And, with this recipe from Delish, it’s never been easier to add a little Christmas twist.
They’re using vodka, but we’re going to up the ante with a little moonshine.
Here’s what to do:
1. Combine candy canes and your alcohol of choice (vodka, whiskey, moonshine) in a mason jar and shake. Chill in the refrigerator until the vodka is bright red and the candy have dissolved, about 4-5 hours.
2. Serve cold, as a shot, or stirred into whatever Christmas cocktail your heart desires.
