911 Calls From Sam Hunt’s DUI Arrest: “It Almost Hit Me Head On”

I share the frustrations of many folks out there wondering why the hell Sam Hunt had to get in his car, and put lives in danger after drinking all night. CALL THE UBER.

He made a huge mistake, and I think (and hope) he’ll definitely learn from it. He issued an apology last week, but now the 911 calls have been released.

According to The Tennessean, at about 4am, Hunt was seen driving the wrong direction down Ellington Parkway in his black SUV acting like “nothing was wrong.”

“I’m on Ellington Parkway going south and there’s an SUV on the wrong side,” a caller said.

Another said, “It was just driving like there was nothing wrong, it almost hit me head on. It was just driving.”

A third caller mentioned “an SUV hauling some ass in the fast lane.”

Luckily, nobody was hurt and traffic was nonexistent at this hour of the morning. Sam has a court hearing scheduled in January 2020 after being arrested with a BAC of .173.

After the DUI charge, Sam Hunt and his team decided to pull his new song, “Sinning With You,” from being released on Friday, 11/22.
