J.J. Watt Donates All Personal Proceeds From New Reebok Shoe To Help Veterans

Respect.

Last week, Houston Texans’ star J.J. Watt released his new Reebok “Valor” Shoe that will honor veterans like his late grandfather that served in the Korean War. All of J.J.’s personal proceeds are going to be donated to Honor Flight, an organization that takes veterans on a trip to Washington D.C. and then back home where all their friends and family are waiting to welcome them home.

“This is going to be the Valor Two, and what I wanted to do is honor my grandpa. My grandpa, who is no longer with us, he was in the Korean War. I grew up hearing his stories about Pork Chop Hill and all his time over in Korea, so I wanted to honor him.”

But isn’t just J.J. doing all the work, Reebok is also agreeing to donate money from each sale to Honor Flight as well.

“For every pair of the Reebok JJ III Valor shoes sold on Reebok.com and any US Reebok retail store, Reebok will be donating $5.00 a pair, up to $25K, to the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure.”

Stay classy Mr. Watt.

Pretty slick.
