A recent study came to the conclusion that people who decorate their houses for Christmas sooner, tend to be happier throughout the holidays. However, another study claimed that playing Christmas music too early is bad for your mental health.
So who really knows what the right approach is, but since we’re nearly halfway through November, now is as good a time as any to get started.
If you’re going to do something, do something big this year and rig up an animated country music light show with an actual country Christmas song. None of that Florida Georgia Line “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” type of bullshit, I’m talking real deal country Christmas.
Alabama’s “Christmas In Dixie” is an all-time favorite of mine, but this Illinois family set their Christmas lights to Merle Haggard’s “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and that’s just about as good as it gets.
