God, I hate college football. I love college football, but I hate it because I went to the worst college in the history of the universe. A college with a astronomical price tag, and a complete joke of an athletics program. Nearly 15,000 kids and we couldn’t even field a football team. Sure, I can just latch on a to a team in the Big Ten, but deep down, knowing in my heart I didn’t go there, I’d just be living a lie. I’m bitter.
Anyways, enough about me. Let’s get to this game.
For those of you lucky enough to attend one of these schools, or those of you that just get to live in and embrace the world of SEC football, yesterday’s LSU/Alabama game was one for the ages. Coach Orgeron and the LSU Tigers have gone 0-6 in their career against Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, and 0-8 as an organization, but last night, that streak came to an incredible end.
Needless to say, Coach O was pumped and he let everybody in the locker room know it.
“We’re going to beat their ass in recruiting, we’re going to beat their ass every time they see us. Roll tide what? FUCK YOU!”
Like I said earlier, I don’t have a dog in this fight, but you gotta love that intensity, you gotta love that passion. If Coach O can’t get you fired up, nobody can.
That’s just a fact.
