Just that powerful Luke Combs voice and a piano… I dig it.
“Better Together” is song that Luke explicitly wrote for his fiancée Nicole Hocking. Luke fielded some questions on Spotify yesterday and one of them specifically asked which songs were about Nicole. Luke offered up “Better Together” as one of them but told fans they would have to figure out the rest on their own.
Then again, with a grab-the-Kleenex line like this in the bridge, it’s pretty obvious:
“And if I’m being honest, your first and my last name, Would just sound better together and probably always will.”
I’m getting married in February, and I just might have to steal this one.
