We’re only two weeks away from the release of Jason Aldean’s upcoming album, and today, he hit fans with another new song titled “Champagne Town.” That makes 8 of the 16 tracks from the new record.
And despite what the title might lead you to believe, this is a whiskey drinking song.
“I don’t know. Maybe I’m just drawn to drinking tunes. They just go together with Country music and it’s hard to pass them up. But it’s not the ‘Hicktown’ type stuff with keg stands, it’s more like sitting at the bar and doing some thinking. It’s all coming from a more mature standpoint.”
Jason’s 9th studio album, simply titled 9, hits shelves on November 22nd.
