Following up her summertime party jam “Southbound,” Carrie Underwood will be sending “Drinking Alone” to country radio as her next single.
Carrie, who is currently wrapping up her fall The Cry Pretty Tour 360 featuring Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, has made a strong case for the CMA Entertainer of the Year award this year, and at this point, she may even be the frontrunner to take home the night’s top honor. Of course, she’ll also be hosting the awards ceremony next month, alongside Dolly Parton and Reba.
This past weekend, Carrie also had her mom step in for Ludacris during a performance of the “The Champion.” Naturally, Carole crushed it.
