Right now, there’s Luke Combs... and then there’s everybody else.
Since the Billboard Top Country Albums chart began in 1964, no single country album has ever spent 51 weeks at the top of the chart, however Luke Combs is looking to change that. This week, Luke’s debut album, This One’s For You, has officially topped the chart for the 50th week, tying him with Shania Twain’s Come On Over for the best ever.
This One’s For You, along with the deluxe edition, earned Luke 5 straight #1 singles, not to mention, it has also been the most-streamed country album of 2019 so far.
Like I said, it’s Luke Combs’ world right now and we’re all just living in it.
