Ron Swanson’s New Lagavulin Scotch Whisky Is Finally Here

The scotch-swilling, wood-carving, mustache-donning, man’s man known as the great Ron Swanson, has officially launched his very own scotch.

Ok, well actually his real name is Nick Offerman, but in my heart of hearts, he’ll always be Ron Swanson.

Anyways, according to the Daily Beast, Nick debuted his official collaboration with Lagavulin Distillery today, the ‘Offerman Edition’ Lagavulin Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Lagavulin says the new 11-year batch “carries the signature Lagavulin peatiness, but with extra spices and notes of dried fruit to carry the spice.” At a handsome $75 bucks per bottle, the Offerman Edition will cost you a pretty penny, but can you really put a price on handcrafted perfection? I think Ron would agree that you absolutely cannot.

“I have traveled the world and sampled many attempts at pleasing nectars,” says Offerman. “But it is solely this distillation of Islay; a tiny, charismatic Scottish isle, that has claimed my palate.”

The Offerman Edition hits stores today and will be available for a limited time only, so get yourself a bottle while you still can.
