Say what you want about Toby Keith, he has always gone above and beyond for the men and women of the United States Military.
According to CNN, Toby Keith and The Independence Fund teamed up to provide retired Marine Corporal Brandon Rumbaugh with a $16,000 all-terrain wheelchair.
Rumbaugh was wounded in 2010 in Afghanistan when he stepped on an IED while carrying another marine to safety. Rumbaugh lost both his legs as a result of the explosion.
Rumbaugh was presented with the wheelchair on Friday night, just before the start of Toby’s performance in Pittsburgh. He also joined Keith onstage during his performance of “American Soldier.”
You gotta love when country music gives back, because at the end of the day, it’s about more than just music.
