The wait is almost over.
It’s no secret that we’re big fans of tequila over here at Whiskey Riff. And while I am pretty partial to tequilas made by guys named “George” (Casamigos & Código), I’ve always been a big fan of everything The Rock does, along with everything he stands for. As one of the hardest working guys in Hollywood, The Rock has become the living-proof that determination, gratitude, patience, humility, and flat-out busting your ass are the secrets to success. I don’t doubt that he’ll take the same approach to making tequila.
Plus, as a big fan of country artists like Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Sturgill Simpson, Jamey Johnson and more, you know he’s a man of exceptional taste. It looks like he spent this past Friday putting the finishing touches on his new blanco tequila, and I for one, can’t wait.
My Blanco tequila “flavors” the bold. Such a good time with my team as we taste the final expressions of our new tequila. What an exciting and educational journey that’s actually taken years of refining and craft to get the tequila just right. I wasn’t willing to rush to market. We take our time. Patience until it’s perfect. Thank you all for YOUR patience and 1st QTR 2020 my tequila arrives. I think you’re gonna like it. Come have a drink with me. And make it quick cos I’m almost drunk.”
No news on a specific launch date or a name (Mana was the rumor), but we’re getting close.
