Rising Texas Star Grant Gilbert Debuts New Song, “Hey Bartender”

Grant Gilbert people. Write it down.

Singer, songwriter, road warrior, Gilbert has been making waves across the entire state of Texas opening up for artists like Whiskey Myers, Flatland Calvary, William Clark Green, and more. But it was another Texas country star that Gilbert grabbed the attention of… Josh Abbott.

Working alongside Josh’s producer Dwight Baker, Gilbert is gearing up to release his debut EP, featuring “Hey Bartender,” written by Erik Dylan and Alexander Palmer.

Hey Bartender is a song about wondering if you have even crossed the mind of the person you can’t get off of yours, and trying to find a way to stop the hurt. Josh Abbott sent me this song and I fell in love with it the first time I heard the demo. I love Erik Dylan and Alexander Palmer’s songwriting and the way they tell stories.”

Gilbert’s new EP drops tomorrow, September 20th. Get your hands on it.
