It’s an ALL-GENRE #1 on iTunes for Craig Morgan‘s “The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost,” and he couldn’t deserve it more.

After saying the song might be the best-written in decades, Blake Shelton went on a Twitter crusade (literally over 20 tweets) to get Craig Morgan’s extremely heavy and emotional new single about his late son to #1. At first, Blake had his sights set on #1 in the Country genre, but as of this morning it finally reached #1 ALL GENRE.

Many big names joined in to help the song climb the charts, including Luke Combs and Ellen.

Simply put, it’s a great song, and you can’t help but love seeing people rallying behind something so meaningful. THIS is country music.

CONGRATS, Craig.
