Wake Up Drunk: MillerCoors & La Colombe Team Up For New Cold Brew Hard Coffee

If spiked seltzer is the hottest thing of 2019, hard coffee is looking like a front-runner in 2020.

Announced today, MillerCoors is teaming up with La Colombe to bring you their new cold brew coffee with a kick. You know, just in case you like heading to the office half in the bag on Monday morning. Clocking in 4.2% ABV, the new collaboration hits shelves today in the form of 9-ounce single-serve cans and four-packs.

According to Food & Wine, it will come in two flavors: Black, which they describe as “an authentic, smooth cold brew coffee” and Vanilla, which is “accented by rich vanilla bean and dark chocolate notes.”

Of course, with Pabst Blue Ribbon recently launching their own Hard Coffee, Bailey’s on the cold brew train, Jäger’s coma-inducing 33% ABV Cold Brew, and dream of Busch Lattes (which is still just beer) finally being realized, La Colombe is going to have some stiff competition.

Either way, here’s to being drunk at 9 in the morning.
