Sturgill Simpson Drops By Hometown Kentucky Restaurant, Autographs Guitars For The Staff

A man playing a guitar

We have a Sturgill Simpson siting ladies and gentleman.

Yesterday, Sturgill stopped by The White Flash in his hometown of Jackson, Kentucky, on a visit from New York. He took the time to chat with the staff and even signed a couple guitars for the owner and his son.

“Folks we never like to brag here at White Flash. But today, we just couldn’t keep from it. We had a legendary man stop in to visit from New York and brought some friends. Sturgill Simpson, it was great meeting you! You are an absolute class act and very humble human being. Thanks for sitting and chatting with us and even autographing mine and my sons guitars! We hope you guys enjoyed your meal and look forward to your next visit. To our customers, we’re sorry we waited until he was gone to post but we just wanted to respect his privacy and let him enjoy his time home. Again, Thanks a ton Mr. Simpson and safe travels back to New York. Good luck on your upcoming tour. You just never know who will pop in the oldest restaurant in Jackson, Ky!”
