About a month ago, I wrote an article about a newcomer by the name of Zach Bryan (hailing from WA/OK).
His tweet performing the original song “Condemned” went viral (for good reason), but there was something different about this kid. That “it” factor we always talk about on the podcast? He has it. That authenticity we always talk about? He has it. This went viral because it deserved to go viral.
Last week, he released his first album titled, DeAnn. It’s raw. It’s songwriting mainstream country out of Nashville could only dream of. It’s Zach and an acoustic guitar, and it’s fucking awesome.
Then, last night, our guy Parker McCollum started tweeting about Zach.
The cat is officially out of the bag. This bandwagon is going fill up faster than that empty stomach whiskey buzz can hit you.
