When news broke a couple weeks ago that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were separated, there was a slight glimmer of hope that there might be an eventual reconciliation. However according to TMZ, Hemsworth has since filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Sources close to the situation have said that Miley recently wanted to work on the marriage, however Liam was set on ending things. Also, last week, Miley was photographed making out with longtime friend Kaitlynn Carter in Italy, so that’s probably not going to bode well for getting back together.
This past Friday, Miley released a song titled “Slide Away,” all but flat-out saying that things are over.
“Move on, we’re not 17, I’m not who I used to be, You say that everything changed, You’re right, we’re grown now,” along with what was perceived shot at Hemsworth with “I want my house in the hills, Don’t want the whiskey and pills.”
The couple originally wed back in December of 2018.
