Changing it up.
Brad Paisley will no longer host the CMAs with Carrie Underwood as it was just announced Carrie will host with special guest hosts, the legends Reba and Dolly Parton.
I loved Brad and Carrie doing this, but I think it was time for something different, and I expect these three to by a dynamic trio on stage.
The show will be “celebrating legendary women in Country Music throughout the ceremony.”
“It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA CEO. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’ will celebrate the legacy of women within Country Music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”
The 53rd CMA Awards takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8/7c on ABC.
