Few voices in country music can move you the way that Randy Travis‘ does. Thankfully, he continues to surprise his fans with a handful of previously recorded songs he had hidden up his sleeve.
Just like the recently-released “One In A Row,” this new one titled “Lead Me Home” was recorded prior to his stroke in 2013, however it was never widely released to the public. According to a press release, “Lead Me Home” is a heartfelt love song, written for his wife Mary.
“Mary was having to make life-or-death decisions about my situation all on her own, trusting God to guide her,” said Randy Travis of the song in his newly-released memoir, Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir of Music, Faith, and Braving the Storms of Life.
