“I’m Just In Awe” – Brad Paisley Before Joining Riley Green On New Single “I Wish Grandpas Never Died”

If you’re not yet convinced that this song is special, just watch this.

Last night in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Brad Paisley was headlining the final night of Musikfest, but it was a performance with Riley Green that might have been the highlight of the night. Brad joined Riley for a duet of the new single, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” sharing some heartfelt words of praise before they began.

“I’m just in awe and I love your new song, I thought I’d like to play it with ya. He just came out with it and I want to be a backup guitarist on it.”

Of course, Riley was more than grateful to share the stage with one of his idols.

“Just so y’all know, if you cant tell from something like this… this is a nobody from Alabama playing a song I wrote about my two granddaddies with an idol of mine, Mr. Brad Paisley.”

If you’re not seeing what is going on here, we have a festival headliner, a country music icon in that of Brad Paisley, loving this song so much that he wanted to play backup guitar with Riley just to be a part of it. It’s THAT damn good.
