We haven’t stopped blasting the new Tyler Childers’ album, Country Squire, here at the office since its release. My favorite kind of albums get better with each listen, and that’s what Tyler gives you with his second-to-none songwriting.
From his TV debut, to shout-outs from Joe Rogan and The Rock, Tyler Childers is quickly becoming a household name, and that’s a great thing for country music.
Today, it was announced that the album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart – having 32,000 equivalent units sold. Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson produced the album.
Regarding the album, Tyler said:
I hope that people in the area that I grew up in find something they can relate to. I hope that I’m doing my people justice and I hope that maybe someone from somewhere else can get a glimpse of the life of a Kentucky boy.”
