Joe Rogan = BIG Tyler Childers Guy

If there are two things that I listen to on a regular basis, it’s Joe Rogan’s podcast and Tyler Childers’ music.

Tyler just released his critically-acclaimed Country Squire record and not only is it one of the best records I’ve heard in a long time, it’s receiving high praise from just about anybody that knows anything about country music. Long story short, Tyler is on a rocket to the moon right now.

He recently received a shoutout from the Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and then yesterday, Joe Rogan shared an Instagram post of his own applauding Tyler, albeit, his previous album Purgatory.

“This Tyler Childers album is fucking great. I’ve had it on a loop for the last few hours.”

Of course, The Rock was quick to get in there and share a nod of agreement in the comment section.

“Good taste brother. I keep “Honky Tonk Flame” on my daily loop. #chasinthatflame.”

Joe Rogan has been a proponent of great country music in the past, having guests like Sturgill Simpson, Shooter Jennings, and Chris Stapleton on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. While some might say that it doesn’t matter, you cannot underestimate how important a shoutout like this is for a growing artist like Tyler. It’s huge.

Joe has a MASSIVE sphere of influence and anytime he’s championing good country music, real country music, it’s a big win non-mainstream artists and a big win for the country genre in general. You gotta love it.

I’ll wrap this up with the same question that everybody else has on their mind right now… so when are we going to see Tyler on the podcast?
