It’s been a devastating couple of days in America.
In response to the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton that claimed the lives 29 people this past Saturday, Kacey Musgraves took to the Lollapalooza stage here in Chicago on Sunday to plead for somebody to do something.
“I can’t even believe that we’re having to process the shit that’s happening in the last twenty-four hours, much less everything that’s happened in the last two hundred and fucking fifteen days in America. So… I don’t know what the answer is but obviously something has to be fucking done. Maybe somebody will hear us if we all yell together and say, ‘Somebody f–king do something.'”
Prior to leading the crowd in a cry for change, Musgraves thanked the fans for still being brave enough to come to music festivals.
She followed that up with a scathing early morning tweet, calling on the president to take action.
