Gainesfest 2019 – A Celebration of The Life of Chris Gaines is coming to Nashville’s The Cobra bar on September 28th. Garth’s alter-ego in 1999 will go down as one of the most bizarre moments in country music history. Rockin’ emo hair and the uncomfortable to look at soul patch Brooks new persona confused the shit out of everyone and was short-lived. However, we will NEVER forget. Now, it’s time to honor the character.
On September 28, 1999, a beautiful, historic moment in music history occurred: Chris Gaines released his Greatest Hits album. (Also known as “Garth Brooks in…the Life of Chris Gaines”)
