C’mon Nashville, how did you let this idea slip away?

To be honest, this thing looks pretty damn cool. Gimmicky as all hell, which is probably why they didn’t build it in Nashville (a town loaded with gimmicks) but still, it’s pretty damn cool. Hell, I’d stay there.

According to Yahoo, the new Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, AKA, the world’s first guitar-shaped hotel, will begin taking reservations this week. Dubbed the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, the state of the art hotel boasts 1,271 luxury guest rooms and suites, 638 of which are located in the guitar shaped part of the structure.

The hotel will also feature a lagoon-style pool, 12,000-square-foot rooftop bar, 7,000-seat concert venue, luxury spa, lots of shopping, comedy and theater venues, several restaurants and a casino with 3,000 slot machines and over 200 table games.

The hotel officially opens this coming October.
