Another Charlie’s Angels?
On the latest episode of our podcast, Whiskey Riff Raff, we just got done talking about how every single movie that comes out these days is just a remake of another movie or even worse, a remake of a remake of a remake. I mean, how may damn Spider Man movies do we need, really?
Just a quick look at what’s showing at my local movie theater here in Chicago and we got Toy Story 4, a Child’s Play remake, a Shaft remake, another Men In Black, the new Aladdin… where does it end? Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of Kristen Stewart going all John Wick on some fools, but still, I’m just craving some more originality from Hollywood.
Anyways, the new Charlie’s Angels film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska, with a screenplay by Elizabeth Banks. The trailer also debuted a new theme song by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey.
