I still cannot fathom the heartache the Granger and Amber and the rest of the Smith family are going through right now.
In his latest video journal, Granger began with his desire to pack up the family, move to a cabin in Colorado and just “disappear,” and who could blame him? But ultimately, Granger and his wife made the important decision to chronicle their journey moving forward, sharing updates about their grieving process, and providing hope and inspiration for other families going through similar situations.
He concluded with an important message:
“You got to love those around you today, right now, because the impossible does happen, the impossible scenarios happen and we just don’t know.”
Finally, Granger and his family delivered a check for more than $200,000 to Dell Children’s Medical Center, the same hospital where they lost River.
