To be fair, I don’t think anybody wants to try and compete with Carrie Underwood when it comes to singing.
But even when it comes to a sweet Vince Gill lullaby for their new baby boy Jacob, even dad is no match for Carrie. Yesterday, Carrie and Mike were singing Vince Gill’s “I Still Believe In You” to Jacob and every time Mike would begin to sing, Jacob would start crying, but as soon as he heard mom’s angelic voice, he immediately stopped.
However, according to Mike, something else was at play here:
“The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food.”
Poor Mike.
