Can we start a petition or something to get Chris back into the studio for this one?
I stumbled upon this gem a while back, but I still can’t get enough of it. We can all agree that Chris Stapleton is one of the best things to happen to country music this decade, but when your unreleased acoustic performances are better than most singles, you know you’re on another level.
And the crazy thing? Chris has hundreds and hundreds of songs like this just laying around. Filed away somewhere, never to see the light of day.
Give ’em to us Chris, we want them all.
If anyone can point in the direction of the Stapleton residence I’m willing to take one for the team and politely go John Cusack in “Say Anything” all over his talented ass.
