Shannon Ihrke served in the United States Marine Corp for 4 years, spent time overseas in Afghanistan, and has now as a model, she has earned the title as the “World’s Hottest Marine.”
However, according to this new interview with Inside Edition, being an Instagram model is just as hard as being in the military.
“In the Marine Corps, if someone tells you ‘no,’ you can prove them wrong,’” she said. “In the modeling world, if someone tells you ‘no,’ there’s nothing you can do. You’re not it.’”
I mean, I’ll admit that trying to take a good picture is extremely difficult. One look at my Instagram will prove that, but to say that being an Instagram model is just as hard as being in the military sounds like an elephant-size load of bullshit to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never had the honor of serving in the military, but given the option of getting shot at in the desert vs taking some pictures on the beach, I think I’m going with take some pictures every single time.
