My kinda guy.

Former Broncos fullback Andy Janovich, now with the Cleveland Browns, is a simple kinda man. He was a walk-on at Nebraska, drives a 2000 Dodge pickup with almost 140,000 miles on it, and he prefers to stay out of the spotlight and save his money.

“I don’t need an extra car payment. I’m just cheap. I like to save as much money as possible,” Janovich said in an interview with ESPN. “About the only things I spend money on are Busch Light, chew and hunting gear. It’s plenty for me. It suits me. I mean, the first time I changed the oil on it, I knew right then it was an old farm truck because I opened the hood, and there was just corn all over on the inside.”

That’s fullback talk if I’ve heard it. If you had to build an NFL fullback in a lab, you’d come out with Andy Janovich. A hard-working, nose down, get the job done kinda guy that likes to spend his time off the field popping the top on a can of cold Busch Light, throwing a dip in the lower lip, and sitting in his tree stand, just patiently waiting for a deer to mosey on by. That’s good clean livin’.

I could be friends with a guy like that.
