Spirit Airlines CEO Announces Flights To Nashville With Awkward Cover Of Tim McGraw’s “Nashville Without You”

I have to admit, I honestly thought this was a joke…

Spirit Airlines is launching flights to/from Nashville and they thought the best way to announce that was to have their CEO, Ted Christie, perform a bizarre cover of “Nashville Without You,” a deep cut from Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes of Freedom album.

The good news however, is that if you want to get to Nashville on the cheapest, shittiest flight humanly possibly, you’re in luck. Beginning this fall, Spirit will offer daily flights to and from Baltimore, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa.

“Nashville is one of the fastest growing cities in the country and has a lot to offer,” Spirit CEO Ted Christie said in a statement announcing the new flights. “From the best live entertainment and family-friendly attractions to a robust food and craft beer scene, there is something for everyone. We’re equally excited to bring our new Nashville-area guests to great destinations throughout the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean.”

As soon as you watch this, you’ll know why they disabled all the comments…
