The year was 1994 – I was six years old.
I wasn’t listening to Hootie quite yet, but as the years passed, I began listening to one song often – “Let Her Cry.” To this day, it’s a song I’ll never skip if it comes on the shuffle. The guys performed it during The Voice (don’t give a shit about that show) finale and Darius still sounds good as ever.
This song is more country than 90% of what you hear on mainstream radio.
