THROWING haymakers – that’s what happened following the end of NASCAR’s All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway when Clint Bowyer ran up to Ryan Newman’s car and let the punches fly.
He was pissed after Newman turned him in turn four towards the end of the race. “Where I come from you get punched in the nose for that, and that’s what he got,” Bowyer said.
“It doesn’t take much of a man to try to fight someone with his helmet on. I think he should be embarrassed with himself,” Newman replied.
